{ a new year }

After a long hiatus, I'm back to blogging and sharing my fun adventure making jewelry for my Etsy shop. It was great to get notified today that one of my necklaces was featured in a beautiful treasury by my good friends at Shiny Shimmering Thing. I am a big fan of turquoise and coral and am so excited to be featured along with these other talented artists. Enjoy!

Here's a photo of a custom order I recently created for an otherlovelythings fan. Originally she purchased a pair of earrings featuring these lovely gold leaf charms, however, didn't wear them often. She came to me with a special request to turn the earrings into something more wearable, so I transformed this piece into a necklace that is more casual. She loves it!

Since these yoyo necklaces have been so popular at otherlovelythings, I decided to make another and put it in the shop for you all to see. This one is made out of some sweet vintage fabric in bright, bold colors. Click for details.
